I've been processing some more shots from my holiday in the Pyrenees. This one is from the Gorges de Galamus; not well known, but definitely vertigo inducing when you look down into it from the small road going through it Smile
A big thank you to Helen for her user award on my Grid & Grot last week; much appreciated!

Next time you're there, it's well worth the not too demanding walk down from the car park into the gorge and along to the Hermitage. Also a visit to nearby (well, Maury) Mas Amiel - fantastic wines available from the vineyard.

Most definitely gorge-ous colour Blush
And plenty vertiginous enough for me even when seen on screen.

Even just thinking about looking down into that causes a part of my anatomy to suddenly constrict...

A magical, cool, private place. Just that tiny triangle of sky is important, but no more is needed. This is about looking downwards.

It is beautiful, but one mis-step could be disastrous. You have captured the grandeur of it so well.

Lovely colours and the bright boulder at the vanishing point is an excellent distant focal point.

Wow, love the colours and composition. It feels so secluded like a little secret place protected by the big rock at the entrance. Great Smile

A top notch image of a beautiful but terrifying place. The rock in the mid distance and the little bit of blue sky add even more interest.
