A difficult subject b/o the range of lighting, but you have captured the scene so well and in an excellent composition..

The Temple of Mammon, showing that the 19th Century was just as good as our own time at turning shopping into a quasi-religious experience. That light could be flooding into a great cathedral. Superb composition of light and shadow, that dark corner and lamp on the right are so important.

Excellent composition. The angled cone of light separates the area containing important detail from the realm of silhouettes and deep shadow, from the edge of which a single face is turned towards you. Superbly balanced.
