Gatekeeper taken at the weekend. So good to see them all flying around but shame they don't settle for long!
Thank you all very much for the votes and comments on my last upload - your thoughts were very very much appreciated and helped a lot.
If anyone can do a mod on this to tidy up the background or at least advise me how to do it I would be really grateful. Not always easy to get a clean background!

A fine shot Lou, they are never easy to catch with their wings open. I'd have cropped a bit closer assuming you wouldn't have lost any detail
well done to get the fast little beggar.
agree with Carol... I just crop my butterflies there is still so much detail left if you only downsize from 2000 pixel or so.
I like it as it is Lou, the problem with cropping these small things is you lose so much detail, it would be so nice if they would just play ball and perch on a single flower head with a plain BG ![]()
