This Minesweeper caught my eye at Watchett.I am not sure if she undergoing a refit,as i photographed her 3 years a go in the same place.

Jim, this is a 'Fast Patrol Boat' from the 1950's and was featured in a news item on BBC local television recently as she is being restored, I think it is just the interior to be completed now. You can see more information here.

Well Jim,

12/15 years ago l had a 24ft Eventide sailing yacht moored in Watchet harbour in exactly the same place as the 'Patrol Boat' is now but before the harbour was split into half floating. There was talk for years of doing this but nothing seemed to happen, then three years ago l took my daughter on a trip to where l used to live, Bicknoller on the road to Taunton, and l had quite a surprise to see years of talk had finally been accomplished. When, l don't know but obviously l took loads of pics and have exactly the same one as you! How's that for coincidence!!
