The German Parliament convenes in the debating chamber of the Bundestag - located in the Reichstag building in Berlin. This magnificent building has had a distinctive glass dome fitted which was designed by British architect Norman Foster. Inside the dome are two spiral walkways which take visitors to the top, and in the center a column of mirrors is suspended which provides light and heat into the debating chamber below. Very energy efficient, but also strikingly beautiful in design.
Some of the debating chamber features can be seen here reflected in the mirrors.
