Evening all. Apologies for not being around too much this week, but have been really busy. On Thursday I went for a workshop at Argaty Kite Centre near Stirling. Was a great day, got a morning's instruction on using my camera from a professional wildlife photographer. However, as usual, I jinxed the wildlife. The Kites took over 2 hours to come out of the trees to get the food, and they only did so because the crows descended upon it. In fact they only came down in my last 10 minutes when the light was fading. Then my remote would not do continuous shooting, so had to manually work the camera while trying to keep it steady on the beanbag. Had also ordered a sigma 150-500mm lens and it did not come in time for the workshop , but the photographer kindly loaned me his 400mm lens. Mainly rear views of the Kites as they had decided to go for the food I was not focused on! I do however have some lovely crow shots!
Should point out that these birds, despite being tagged are totally wild.
Thanks for C&Cs on previous upload. Will do some catching up tonight.
