Thought i would take a break from flowers - this cute little thing is called Gizmo. He belongs to my next door neighbour and as I had my camera in my hand after doing some still life - i thought i would take a pic.

I used it on TIFF 1/100 at f9

Nothing done in ps except the frame - i thought it worked

Have you noticed something Ian, they have all used the word cute but not one has mentioned your skill and versatility as a seasoned pro, composing the picture, framing it and displaying it in its present state.
Well I think it is a good use of DOF as it stands out from the bg but would have been inclined to get rid of the distracting bright sunlight band across the picture.
Regards
Ian

It looks terrified of either you or the camera.

The sunlight doesn't bother me but the red lead and his tag are a bit distracting especially with the lead running out of the picture.

Nice, cute - there said it now going to wash mouth out with a good stiff shot of whisky - shot.

Simon

Thank you all this was a deceptively hard shot because gizmo kept running towards me and could not get a good shot this was the only one out of several I did - obviously i set camera up with ap and shutter speed on manual.

Thank you all for your coments - ian

you are talking about my photos??
how you can make so many critics when you can not make just one good photo?
