Compositionally I wonder if you had lowered your camera to include crossed framework, showing an offset cross with the glass in one corner would have been a better option here.

If you have to be trapped somewhere, what better than the hotel bar! And with an additional bit of photography to while away the time between drinks.

I can see what you're doing here, and it's good.

Staring at it for a while, I'd be inclined to make the picture slightly wider, and move the glass around an inch to the right...

However, this may jsut be my personal view, and others will differ (as Focus_Man does!)

Tonally lovely: and the sepia effect works really well.

A nice result from a forced confinement. This looks like a simple shot, but I find I can spend some tome looking at pictures within pictures, the inverted reflection in the stem, the lines through the glass with occluded shapes. Shapes, curves, lines everywhere you look.

The toning is complimentary, works well. I can see also dudlers suggestion working, aligning the glass with the peak behind, it perhaps could enhance what is already a nice balance.

Regards

Willie

@banehawi - Thanx, the week before i had walked pass and imagine it to make a very cool shot. The confinement just made me take it. Personally I like the fact it isnt totally balance, it would have been easy to make it perfect - remove the spiderweb etc.
