I know that my square format is 'so last year', but here's one from a series I did in Glastonbury. Hope you like what I've done with it, and enjoy your weekend break...

Beautifully composed, with wonderful tones in almost B&W; wonderful image.
Never knew that square format was "so last year"; thanks for the warning, wouldn't want to be caught unaware of the latest trends! Wink

A really striking image. Sometimes 'square' is the only aspect that works; that's the time to use it!

Square's ok by me Smile - I like the image and the treatment you've given it, the colourful flowers are a nice touch.

Over the course of last year you pretty much perfected the square format and this goes along with the best. Masterful composition and a very sophisticated look.

Classy work, Dave. Looks good with the brooding sky and that little bit of colour left in. Just call the square format your take on "retro".

Thanks for all the great feedback folks, I meant it was my preferred format for 'last year' and not that there's anything wrong with it. I still really enjoy the challenges presented by square format pictures. Cheers everyone for all the support...

Quite a moody and brooding feel to this one Dave, helped in equal measure by the dark sky and overall dark treatment that you've applied. The square format works to reinforce that feeling by allowing the buildings to dominate the frame. It's very effective.
