Yet another of my Glencoe images.
I notice a lot of halos on these images after I've uploaded.
It doesn't look as bad in original size.
Any advice welcome!
Many thanks for votes for Nature's Fireworks.

That's a very well composed shot, Kate: the river on the diagonal carries the eye along but the tree placed at the right side pulls then gaze back towards the middle and far distance. The side to back lighting adds so much and the autumn/winter colours are so warm and so much more attractive that the greens of summer......at least, that's my feeling.
One of your best compositions.
Ronnie.
Another superb composition Kate, lots of lovely lines an terrific light, if the halos are there, it's just because of the high contrast between light and dark. There will be more technically qualified people on here than me to tell you how to deal with them though!
Wonderful shot and thank you very very much for your comment!

I love this one it has all the texture and colour. Dave reckons I am King of the landscape
then you certainly are the Queen. Well done. WesternRed.
Wonderfully composed photograph from one of my favourite places in Scotland Kate, the beautiful Autumn colours look amazing. With regards to the halos you are seeing, it may be just slightly over sharpened. Just a thought. Wonderful image, Very well done, Bill.
Kate, another strong comp from you trip, like the pov here very nice and the colour tones are so very rich and rustic...........nice work.
Paul.
A breathtakingly beautiful and remote rural landscape with a marvellous range of autumnal colours captured
