Taken in my garden on August 10th during a sunny spell. Those Globe Thistle were a real attraction to many insects.
“Echinops is a genus of about 120 species of thistles in the daisy family Asteraceae, commonly known as globe thistles. They are native to Europe east to central Asia and south to the mountains of tropical Africa.” (Wikipedia)
I’m so pleased you liked the handsome butterfly of my last up-load before the week-end. Thank you.
Hoping you’ll like this photo. Have a nice day,
Jean-Noël
