Just a fleeting “pit stop” I’m afraid. I’ve just had a week’s camping in North Cornwall, and am driving back down again in less than an hour for a family get-together.
Just wanted to have a quick look at the few shots I took; this one caught my eye, so I thought I’d share it with you.
Large is probably best ![]()
I’ll be catching up with you all as soon as I’m back home long enough!

Well mate, I was a little unsure of the balance in this image on the thumb, but boy when you go large who cares!.
It has got so much detail in it from the water cascading off the rocks to the wave breaking and the colours. wow this has to be a winner. And to top it all I have a 24" screen and its does not fit, I had to scroll across it.
Wow. Paul, that is truly amazing. It is damn good! You can almost feel the sea surging and pounding on the rocks. Great shot.

Absolutely stunningly wonderful - no ifs, buts or maybes. The detail in the dark areas is there, the light is there, the spray is wonderfully there - a brilliant picture. Carol
A stunning panorama, love the colour and movement in the sea.Exceptional.
Tom.
Really fab, amazing shot, love the colours and the spray and the moody dark cliffs, in fact I like everything. Ann
The small version does little for this image Paul, but the large makes up for it's wee friend. Fabulous spray and mist across the waves and as ever great light too. You must have webbed feet by now, surely?

I thought I'd just check how this one did before I went to bed, and I'm gob-smacked!
Many thanks to Ian (rossi) and wolfy for their very generous awards, and also to the award team for the very unexpected PA!!!!!!!!!![]()

Tremendous capture, Paul!
This truly evokes the spirit and majesty and awesomeness of the place. (I'm not too sure that awesomeness is actually a word!)
Looks like you had better light than I did when I was there last week.
Congratulations on all the awards; here's another one to add to your collection!!
I've yet to look at any of my shots from last week, but thay're going to have to go some to get anywhere close to this beauty!
All the best,
Bill
Exceptional pano, on my screen I get the whole thing large and it is fantastic. One very worthy premier.

How did I miss this? An excellent capture Paul and so well presented, worthy of all the awards and must be up for POTW.
