Just to update you on the fast fading glory of my lilac tree, I mentioned before how I had to move my car forward, V2 shows you why, this is a shot of my drive in the vicinity of the tree!

Had no problem downloading tonight, maybe this d****d computer knew my EPZ membership was up, anyhow, that's all sorted out now, though I had to give my Visa details, which I was reluctant to do.

Many thanks for your response to 'Trenton Power Station', much appreciated. There was no way I was going to attempt power lines removal, like some of you say, I considered them a part of the subject in this case Smile

I can see that parked beneath this lilac the car would look like it's been at a wedding, covered in confetti. Still some beauty there though in the fading blooms, Jim.
We have a mauve one, much smaller than this though, but as the weeks progress the colour almost disappears and the blooms are now almost white.
Ronnie.

Would be a lovely carpet of white, but certainly not good for the car. The man along the road from me has a beautiful big purple one, but the flowers still on it just now.
Not really all that pernickity with my shots, just pointing out what someone will inevitably comment on. Always like to have the last word, hehehe.

All but gone, and v2 is a fitting finale, Jim.

Lol...love the shot in V2, Jim. Gives us the real state of affairs Grin

Thanks for mentioning the EPZ renewal again 'cos it's reminded me (I have pigeon memory, sometimes) that mine is up for renewal in less than 2 weeks and I wanna get a jump on that.

There is nothing like a blossom that makes a carpet when it falls.
I love this as a finale, the smell from it all is special too as are your captures…….
