Good evening folks,
Another Nuthatch this evening.
This shows what they are famous for, going down a tree trunk.
All bird books tell you that they are the only british species able to do this, but I
have to disagree on this point. They may be by far and away the best at this feat, but they
are not the only bird to do it.
I have seen both Great spotted woodpecker and Treecreeper do this stunt.
I am quite sure one or two contributors on here will confirm this.
