I've lost count of the times I've gone down to a local beach in order to capture a sunset or two and I'm usually disappointed.

Taken yesterday evening.

The plane is gaining height after just taking off from Cardiff airport which is behind the silhouetted headland.

A few minutes later the sun went down.

Quite pleased with this one and a couple of others taken at the same time.

There's always something to spoil a fine sunset WinkGrin

Two separate images combined to create more than the sum of their parts. Love the composition.

Beautiful colours and light Ken, and I like the accent of the plane.
