Gathering gold dust from almond flowers, the honey bees are back into action here... despite -7C this morning! and yet more snow forecast... will it ever stop?

At least there are a few signs of Spring around...

Aha the bees... not seen one here yet... rather depressing as we progress through March!

You've managed to capture this one with it's tongue sticking out it looks like... looks like a double tongue fuysed together similar to a butterfly, though shorter and broader... interesting the things you can learn if you freeze the action at the right moment Smile

Been looking a little more into the 7D now... might be a worthy step up from my 50D... I'll keep reading until the butterflies wake Smile

A fantastic inflight shot Tim, the detail and clarity are truly wonderful. We've had lots of hard frosts too, but i've spotted the odd honeybee too, searching for pollen amongst the numerous crocuses and snowdrops that are currently in bloom

Well it will stop eventually Tim. Just like you stopped the bee in flight! Nice shot and a bit different too so...Clik!
