Aha the bees... not seen one here yet... rather depressing as we progress through March!
You've managed to capture this one with it's tongue sticking out it looks like... looks like a double tongue fuysed together similar to a butterfly, though shorter and broader... interesting the things you can learn if you freeze the action at the right moment ![]()
Been looking a little more into the 7D now... might be a worthy step up from my 50D... I'll keep reading until the butterflies wake ![]()
A fantastic inflight shot Tim, the detail and clarity are truly wonderful. We've had lots of hard frosts too, but i've spotted the odd honeybee too, searching for pollen amongst the numerous crocuses and snowdrops that are currently in bloom
