John colours look fab. It would be nice to have your picture in the forum topic I have created for the Olympic Games where fellow EPZ members have honoured us with their pictures form the Games.
I've read great stories for athletes competing in these Olympics this year, the Polish lady Zofia Noceti-Klepacja who will auction her bronze medal to raise money needed to operate a young girl, her next door neighbour, the American runner Bryson Nellum shot in the legs who had been shot to the legs, and the other male runner from South Sudan Guor Marial, the American Christine Armstrong who returned to cycling after becoming a mother at 36, the American beach-volleyballer Jake Gibb who fought cancer, from people like South African Oscar Pistorius, Kelly Smith the female British footballer who got free from alcoholism . Not all of them got medals but they proved good heart and strong will. As Pierre De Coubertin had said, it is not the winning that matters. The truth is you can't have winners if you can't have losers. Olympics bring people together to compete, bring world together to watch and be inspired. Unfortunately the Olympic truce, has not been revived despite attempts from the country which born the Olympics for all wars.combats to stop while the Olympic Games are practiced. We don't owe peace to Greece, but we owe some respect for their contribution to the world. May we all be well and cheerful to watch the Olympic Games in Rio and many more.
