This is a detail of one of the old Icelandic coast guard ships, the "Icelandic Gunboats" of Cod War days. Someone, I guess it was an art project, had spray painted the entire ship gold. It was then left to rust in the harbour (I'm not sure that was part of the project's intention). I was attracted by the rusting gold in the evening sunlight.

Yes, I am really drawn to this shot - it makes me want to look for pattern in the lines or pattern in the colour... and then just enjoy this shot for the composition and colour exactly as it is. Ang.
