View across Morecambe Bay with windturbines off Walney Island, Barrow and gas rigs on the horizon. I have difficulties with offshore windfarms when they disrupt the communications between whales (which is vital for their mating process) and the boat's propellers (which service the turbines and have specially designed tubes surrounding the propeller) suck seals into them and eject them the other end dead - with corkscrew lacerations down their bodies. Rather environmentally unfriendly.

not so sure about you very descriptive write up ... Sad
I do like your image though

Absolutlely beautiful capture Paul and interesting write up. I had no idea of the harm these cause to some marine life, the government kept that quiet!
Thank you so much for bringing this issue to peoples attention.
This is something i must look into and find out more. I for one will never see wind turbines in the same light again. Sad

Thanks Rick. I am all for saving the planet and renewable energy but not at any price. Wind-turbines on land or sea are just lining the pockets of those who allow them on their patch. Paid millions which all comes out of the end users pocket (you and me). Thanks for your continued support Rick. Paul
