MrS & I were determined to get out with the cameras over this Bank Holiday weekend (mine was beginning to think that I'd fallen out with it!!!), and as yesterday was looking to be the most promising, a careful watch was kept on the weather.
MrS wanted to head for the Peak district and capture some glorious light on the heather, but the variable forecast and favourable tides at New Brighton saw us heading off to one of my favourite locations of Perch Rock lighthouse.
However, it would seem that the photography gods had other ideas, so football traffic, the Matthew Street festival and closure of 50% of the tunnels forced our hand and we found ourselves at Crosby.
Not much light when the sun did sink below the horizon, but plenty in the "golden hour"
Hope you like, thanks for spending part of you Bank Holiday with me, enjoy the rest of it, hope it's less wet than here
