OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Took this shot of water in the sunset. I know it was with the "cheaper" camera, and the shot was blurry in the bottom of the shot, but I thought that the colour was harmonic......

Camera really does not matter in general. A good photographer is still good with a cheepo, a poor one is rubbish withan EOS1D.

Interesting image, well seen. Think it could have done with a small single item in there with complemantary colours to act as a focal point.

hi, the colours are quite nice and i like the division into an apparant 3 sections at the bottom but despite that i think the bottom, moving though it is, should have been the principally sharp area and not the background.
you may not have been able to trick the camera into focusing in a specific area and maybe the focus hunted because of the movement i dont know.
sort of like things but sharper and floating leaf would have made a nice shot even better

As Paul says well seen. Attractive colours and composition. You pointed out the main issues yourself. Cheap camera can be difficult to control, more advanced models can achieve better photos more easily so long as the user understands the basics of photography and the camera controls.
