An appealing Goldfinch feature, Shaun. You've captured a good pose with some very nice detail & placed against a great b/g.
I have several juveniles along with adults in my garden daily - almost full time work keeping the Nyjer feeder well stocked.

Very good shot, Shaun. Like the way the perch twig splits the frame on the diagonal and carrying the bird in such an excellent position. Lovely bit of work.
