St Mary's lighthouse this morning about 07.00.

I had to visit North Shields early this morning so as it looked as though it was going to be a lovely day I decided to go to St Mary's lighthouse for the sunrise. Getting up at 04.30 the sky was absolutely spectacular on the journey there but shortly after I arrived the sun turned very watery and then the sea fret arrived from the left and covered the whole area. This was taken just before the sea fret shrouded the lighthouse completely . . . . all in all I wished I had stayed in bed a bit longer!
