Whilst in Liverpool we took a taxi to Crosby to see the Gormleys. It was worth the fare !!

A great image, which works extremely well in monochrome.

I've seen so many uploads of this installation but this is the first composition that I can recall giving a sequence of figures moving out to sea. The two smaller figures create a satisfying break to the symmetry.
Must get to see this 'in the flesh' some time, there's still scope for a fresh perspective.

Meant to comment earlier but called away to the phone. Super image Ron, like the monochome effect, adds to the visual perspective creating an air of mystery

I love the composition, and the tones work well. A picture with something to say!

But (and I'm amazed no-one has mentioned yet) - the horizon has a very slight slope to it.

Is this delibeately provocative and unsettling, or is it a fair cop, Ron?

Facing the new technology. These figures are always haunting - like this very much.

Really like the light in this one. One day I might travel to see this scene - I would probably be there for hours - am always intrigued by photos of this spot.
