This poor little baby bird must have lost it's way. He could fly, but not much. He'd rest a bit then a pesty fly landed on him. You could tell he didn't like it. He kept trying to shake it off. But it kept him from noticing me right away. The baby finally flew up into a low tree. Hopefully, it makes it.

Pesky fly in this case, however, be thankful for flies. We used to have all kinds of flying insects years ago. I notice so few these
days and wonder how the swallows and martins stay alive. Monsanto has been too effective. Their nicotinoids have killed off many
millions of honey bees. Some orchards in parts of China must be hand pollinated by hand labour using bamboo sticks and feathers.
Excellent and unique image. TG

That poor wee fledgling looks quite woebegone, a bit like myself this morning although I don't have a pesky critter on my the back of my neck (as far as I know).
Excellent and original shot, Sandy.
