Acquired these bottles last week, thought they would be something different to play with. Have thought about cleaning them, but not sure what with, and to be honest quite like the filth on them.

While on the whole I agree with your decision don't forget that clean old glass can give you some interesting light effects (transmission, reflection, refraction, plus distortions due to imperfect manufacture). You'll just gave to find some more bottles Smile

Don't clean - I have a collection of carefully washed bottles and they're not nearly as interesting.
Really nice grotty textures, some blown highlights.

As Moira says, don't wash them. You can use clean ones, old or new, for shooting anyway, Den. The dirt is what counts here, for me. I love old bottles.
