This really is very spectacular.
I'm not sure what there is to crit!
I dare say that someone will be along shortly to tell you that the verticals are out by a degree but will you bother?
No, neither would I!
An excellent shot.

Hi, shame you didn't contact me, as I live about a mile away in Puerto Santiago. Yes, the Melia is a beautiful 5* hotel set in the village of Alcala, so I'm sure you had a great time staying there.

A superb reflection shot. For me there's absolutely nothing to crit!

Many thanks for the critique guys...

Not a lot to suggest here as pretty much everything is right. The composition is natural and everything is level and sharp. From the angle of the shadows, it looks like you were shooting close to midday, which is usually not the best light but, here, it makes sense as it avoids having one wing of the hotel in heay shadow.

I do think this is slightly over-exposed. There's a white thing on the poolside on the right-hand edge of the photo that's blown out; the colour of the right-hand tower looks a bit washed-out too. The histogram shows that the red channel is quite badly blown out, which may have caused some colour distortion.

Nope, not much criticism here apart from insane jealousy that you spent a week here. Maybe slightly overexposed but not by a great deal - 1/2 stop perhaps. Really nice image and with that lens at 11mm the verticals are pretty damn good.

Converging verticals come from angling the camera upwards, not from using a low focal length.
