Some of you may have seen this chap before on my dad's portfolio (backbeat) but he gladly posed for me today as well. Will be off to Europe on Monday for a couple of months so won't be around too much, but will get on as much as I can, and hope to do some blogging at peoplethatisee.tumblr.com - this is the first entry! Thanks for looking pals, and cheers for the support and advice over the past few months

That is one tremendous portrait.
The b&w and the LB combine to give a very Victorian atmosphere to a very modern style of image.
I am envying you a couple of months in Europe as my languages are getting rusty. And the photo opps . . .
I wish you success and enjoyment and look forward to your return.

That's ma boy!
Congratulations Jarod...a brilliant portrait (I have to admit its better than mine of the same subject!) and a really fine first Editors Choice for you. Really well done.
I'll be checking out your blog on a regular basis, but try and post some on here as well while your away
Tale care and speak soon
Dad
Has the intensity that only the LB can create. Many congratulations.

Great portrait. Biting texture and gives that not posed look. Interesting use of Lensbaby - Well done
