I bivvied at Alcock Tarn last Friday but the best pics I got were taken after sunrise the next morning around Grasmere.
The fell on the left is Helm Crag (or the Lion and the Lamb), the gap is Dunmail Raise and Seat Sandal is off to the right.

well composed and nice colours and lighting
Superb..Love the lake district... great colour and lighting and the shimmer on the water....
wonderful vista Mark
Thw little ripple on the water adds a certain special detail to a grand reflection in the Lakes.
Fantastic shot, what a view.
I agree with Dougie about the ripple and I love the band of gold along the shoreline, it really underlines the symmetry.
It's a while since I bivvied out in the lakes Mark but definately the way to go for early starts and summer sunrises, it can get tedious waking at 3:30 and driving to locations only to be disappointed with conditions.
beautiful colour and reflections, love the gentle ripples.
Beautiful shot, wow them reflections are perfect
