Chrysoteuchia culmella-Grass Moth

One of our most common of moths and very easily found both by day and night, measuring about 15mm in length.

Hiya folks, yes it's me! Tongue Suffice to say I'm somewhat better than I have been, I'm still confined to barracks so to speak and the mind isn't quite as it should be yet, but I'm getting there. I even managed to get the cameras out yesterday after a moth catching session in the garden, although this is a couple of images from my archives......Hopefully I'll be back to where I was after a couple of more weeks R&R, in the meantime though I'm feeling up to doing a bit of surfing around and maybe throwing the odd comment and bit of abuse at certain peeps (you know who you are Tongue )

Hopefully I'll catch up with everyone over the weekend......Best regards to all that know me.....Ade

Two top quality macros Ade, your presence on site has been missed by many. It hasn't been the same without your legendary Westcountry wit and banter with your wingman Durb!Wink I'm glad to hear that you are back on track and doing what you do best againSmile

Wow two cracking images Ade, the variants are as they should be, a close up of the whole insect and a close up of the most interesting part (the head)
Awesome piece of skills and presentation.
Well done.

Fantastic images you've got here and I can't believe it's only 1.5cm long! I like the crop in V2 'cos you get to have a close-up look at that really cute schnozz GrinGrin
