Bit of a departure form the norm for me here, and knowing how well images of this genre are received on EPZ, likely to see little attention either.

This is a shot from my cycling clubs (Rutland CC, Sheffield) hillclimb on Saturday morning up Mam Nick. Looks bloody hard work!

Considering the relatively bad press the 5D MKii gets for it's speed of focussing and tracking, I was thoroughly impressed myself, and got some I was really happy with, especially since I'd not done this before.

Agreed mate. I've only ever descended it in the past, and it's a damn good descent too!

Not sure if that expression spells enjoyment, flatulence or agony Smile Beautifully crisp detail and excellent colour contrast. A very fine capture.

Nice sharp image - 5d Mk2 is has fine focus on the centre point just when using the outer points but only needed when below f4 really so most users would never have an issue. I do weddings mainly and just gone Mk3 as it is a problem for me.

Nice shot Martin - the slope of the field background gives an indication of the road gradient.

I also had zero focus/tracking issues when I used the 5D mk2 for some wakeboard jump shots, back in August.
I got as many keepers as I did with my 1D mk2n Smile

Pin sharp against the background and would agree defo pain. You wouldn't have found much of a challenge with my ascent speed on Sunday....probably needed a calender to check my painfully slow climb....though two road bikes slowed me up when going back down Whinnats! Wink
