Great to have such marvellous images tucked away in your archives, Sylvia: a most attractive looking bird, caught in a most interesting 'pose' and in fine detail.
I also like the colour coordinated b/g tone that shows the bird off so effectively.

What a stunning little bird this is! It looks as if it's been sprinkled with a fine dusting of snow ... or maybe icing sugar Wink. I love the pose - tail lifted and head slightly cocked - beautiful.
