Great Spotted Woodpecker on Lichen Trunk.
I spent a most enjoyable and fulfilling day in the company of good friends...Nora,Hilda,Compo & Harold 
As always the laughs were in abundance,despite a very windy day 
LOL The cheesecake supplied by Hilda ( just can't get enough ).......The sweet chilli crisps courtesy of Nora and the tears of laughter supplied by Harold I really cannot wait for the next round.

Fantastic photo - sharp, clean and wonderfully detailed. I'm surprised that in despite of all the crisp bag rustling that there must have been, the Great Spotted Woodecker hung around to get his photo taken !!
stunningly good as always, and the perch is amazing, you must go on the most fantastic foraging trips,send me one in the post lol
