My first outing with a Sigma 150-500mm lens on my 50D. Very pleased with it but have noticed it seems a bit soft at it's widest aperture.

lovely shot.good detail. every sigma i have had has been soft at some point.still good lenses though.Smile

Definitely yes! Especially for the cost of it. We were on a workshop and one of the people there was fortunate enough for money not to be a problem and had paid 5K for his lens. Unfortunately we can't afford that for a hobby lol!

lovely image. I borrowed my friends 150-500 sigma last week found it a bit heavy to carry around so two days ago bought the sigma 120-400mm. tried it out today and am pleased with it.

My husband has the 120-400 and likes that and it is lighter but as we both have the same cameras it made more sense to get the 500 instead so we can swap about. Smile
