The same great tit that I uploaded a couple of weeks ago in a different pose. This one was taken from the Willow Hide at Slimbridge on a visit at the beginning of the month.

The title conjures up all sorts of visions Ed. However your image is unsurpassed, superbly captured with great colour and detail. Wonderfully posed against the uncluttered backdrop.

It's a fine image, with great detail and colour rendition - and the background is excellent...
No doubt a benefit of shooting birds at Slimbridge

Good GT image set against a nice background Ed.
I agree with previous comment about crop from RH.
Also, the white cheeks are blown quite a lot in the bright sunlight. I find that I have to underexpose by at least -1.0EV in these conditions, to retain detail.

Ed could be between half a stop underexposed or overexposed here. But who cares because he captured this moment in time superbly.
