Wow! I so want to get a lightening shot but never seem to have either a) lightening storms or b) a tri-pod.
Very clear image and great colour
Hi,
Thanks! My tripod is always in my car, not just that I use it for work, but you just never know when you'll need it.
We get frequent lightning storms in the summer here in Greece, thanks mainly the heat of the day. The mountains seem to spark them off nicely. They usually come in from the direction of Mount Olympus which isn't that far away, I can see it from here so can usually see the flashes well ahead of time and just head out and wait.
Thanks again,
Nic.
Great picture .
I am going to Skiathos next week and I always take a small tripod for this reason but I have had no luck as yet .
One day
Super image, love Pefkahori, and Sithonia. Got some great shots of the wild terrapins in Fourka on my last visit. Sylvia
