Another from my misty start last week. Layering for depth and I liked the green hues before the sun got too high.

The early day mist bathing the landscape mutes the colours buts adds so much atmosphere: wonderful depth with the successive bands of tree tops peeping out above the blanket.

Very similar to your first version from here, Al, but from a closer view. Still got the lovely layers and the atmosphere but the main niggle with this is the left side of the frame. As on seascapes or lake views you should not cut off across the water, something is needed to stop the 'flow' out of the frame.

Tremendous layer of mist down in the valley, the sun will make short shift of it as it rises and the heat hits the vapour.

The soft layers and mist create nice depth to this.
