Another elusive little critter taking on yesterday's foray out to a rather unknown place I know close to home. Found this one sat on top of a Bluebell just warming up in the sunshine ready to take off, which gave me and Sue the wife about 20 minutes to get all the shots we wanted......Don't you just love it when a plan comes together!
Had to use a high ISO and fairly wide aperture as the light levels at the time of shooting were a little low under the cloudy sky, but think I got away with it.
Thanks for looking in and all the kind comments on yesterdays Small Blue.....Regards....Ade

Excellent detail and exposure Ade, just a shame the fg bluebell is obscuring the body for composition.

We will forgive the dust bunny after all at our age the old eyes are not what they were GrinGrinGrin.

A top class shot of a butterfly I have never seen.

I hope you and Sue are well as its been a while since I was in touch, lots to do and not enough time at the moment.

I have seen similar here in PA, but only rarely does one get a chance to capture them-- love the hairstreaks!

Lol...I love the A-Team line Grin

This is one breathtaking capture, Ade. Pin sharp detail and I can't believe the green on this fella's wings! And so cool that he's sat on that purple. Very complementary.

I used that because we went after 2-3 specific species and we nailed everyone we were after, it doesn't happen often I can tell you Wink

Fabulous detail and colour in this close up Ade, you are making me green with envy that you've found all these rare species despite the crappy weather. A dust bunny eh? If it was the epz Bunny it would have been much easier to spot!Wink
