My first ever...snake!!

I am truly afraid of these creatures...But Angi gave me
the confidence to take and get this close...his body is what you see out of focus..as
just wanted to get the head shot with the water droplets...more another day.

Thank you everyone for all those wonderful comments on the Tiger Cub
and to Ian for your User Award and Bob for the day before on the Water Dragon

Catching up slowly...we did Autumn scenes today at Winkworth ..Surrey

Your title put me off a tad, Lillian......looks very lizard like for a frogWinkWinkWink
Excellent head portrait, very sharp, so you must have overcome your reservations and got fairly close despite the 100mm. focal length.
Wonderful shot asa ever from your stable.

I'd keep well clear of these!

A wonderful ancient creature.
Very, very well captured Lillian.

(We had to get a yard long grass snake out of the
ornamental fish pond in my garden a few weeks ago.
I think many have a natural fear over being too near
snakes)

Beautiful detail in this macro, Lillian. I'm okay with the captive types but met a red bellied snake in Australia in the wild and was definitely VERY wary Smile
