I arrived at Grindleford Station very early for the Padley meet and whilst I was waiting, having just finished a Bacon Buttie I was surprised to see a Cavalcade of Harley-Davidson motorbikes coming down the station approach. I had a W/A lens on the camera and no chance to change--other lenses were in the boot of the car so my shots of them approaching need severe cropping! However the riders were quite amused at me diving about trying a few of my odd angle shots after they parked.................

I find it amusing, and it also open up conversations when ever we ride some place. The people always stop to look, see wht the noise is all about. It is almost like a carnival ride, people line to take a look and hopefull get a ride. I like the foot peg on the bike on the right. Enjoy and keep shootin those Harley's....KevBK

Hi Bill,

Great shot and good choice of a low angle mate.

Not your average shot taken at Padley. Like the low angle with the gap between the sets of bikes taking you to the back of the image. Looks like the bike on the left is leaning in to take a look.

There were some very impressive bikes on display from what I remember and all of them looked like they'd just come from the showroom.

Nice one Bill, I wondered if anybody had 'togged these, they were just leaving as I arrived, and thought of a missed opportunity, glad to see you didn't miss it

CLIX Smile

By 'eck lad you're getting good at this photoshop lark, it almost looks like it was shot with a Canon... Smile
