Big cheers to Walter for the UA and to you all for your kind comments. The GP confirmed Chris is making progress so I feel a lot better.

Here is a grotty door from our weekend in Marrans. V2 and 3 are just slightly different crops, tell me what you think please. I made sure to include a rusty handle, apologies for the galvanized screws.

Three rather beautiful variants, each worthy of much attention. "They would look great squarely cropped and mounted on large canvases?"

V2 is the one for me, Annette. It's a wonderfully abstract composition with lots of detail and texture.

I do like the handle in the composition, Annette, but can't decide between 1 & 2.

Three fine studies.........someone needs to visit B and Q for the odd pot of paint, etc.
Of the three V 2 is the one that clicks with for balance of composition, Annette.

V1 for me, followed by V2. Wonderfully scrapable grot, contained in a satisfyingly formal composition and crop.
