Out to the west of Grindavik, south west Iceland lays the Gunnuhver Hot Springs and the Reykjanes Geothermal Power Station (in the back ground). The power station is only open to visitors at the weekend. The mud pools are heavily cloaked in steam and sulpherous emissions but well worth a look. Also see the local lighthouse which on a bright day really stands out.
