First time of seen one of these beautiful creatures let alone photographed one. Not as sharp as I would like but not bad for a first attempt at the Ferrari of the hawk species. Smile Not sure which of these I prefer but version one to me, seems to give a greater impression of speed.

a good image but i think that in order to deserve the accolades the head would have to at least as sharp / in focus as that wing

Great series. V3 is best as the head/beak/eyes are sharp.

.... and to be contrary... V2 best as V3 has light patches along the bottom drawing the eye away from the subject. none are terrible, just V2 best
