Thanks to this guy we now have to pay £10 entry to F1 test days and have more people to compete with to get a good spec for photography. Smile

Taken yesterday at the F1 testing session at Silverstone. Unfortunately we didn't see much of him as he had hydraulic problems most of the day.

I'm pretty pleased with this shot, I still find it extremely difficult panning with an F1 car at full blat.

Thanks for looking, all honest comment welcome.

Ian

Thanks Stephen and Dave.

I must admit to being confused now. Hamilton was supposed to be the one driving the Maclaren yesterday and I am sure I heard his name over the tannoy, but I've just been told this helmet looks more like De La Rosa.

Oh well, it definitely is a Maclaren. Smile

When you have to pay, there are more people instead of fewer? That's rather unexpected, isn't it - over here the outcome is usually the other way around, but then we're accused of being like the Scottish. Wink

Some good panning done here, Ian!

Thanks Conrad. The reason there were more people there was because of the Lewis Hamilton factor. That's also the reason Silverstone slapped an entrance fee on this year (or just call me an old cynic).

This is really clear Ian, well captured - I will have a look at my photos this evening.

They did say it was Hamilton driving yesterday day and he does have a multi coloured helmet. They said Alonso was to drive today (if it not raining there)!!

Interesting, thanks Fran.

Ta Robbie, maybe Maclaren did a quick switch without telling the commentators.

Thanks Les. It would have been tricky hooking up anyway with all those tourists about. Smile

Wonder why the commentators said Hamilton was in the Maclaren then?

Good shot Ian. Sorry I didn't see you there (I did look for you, and I went because of your thread). Other people there told me this was Pedro De La Rosa.
