Brilliant! And I love the way you have him placed in the frame.

Great shot - I also like the placement in the frame here. His expression gives me the feeling that he will be stepping back into the frame, so extra room on the right was not needed here. Very well isolated from the background, good use of aperture.
Focus on the face might be a bit soft, but it doesn't bother me much here.

I photograph performers fairly regularly, I covet this one. I particularly like the fact that he's reacting to something outside the normal field of vision, if that makes sense. One minor quibble, I'd be inclined to crop a tiny bit, probably from the right side, to create a perfect square. 'Not-quite' square looks a bit flabby. But that's a very minor point with such a wonderful capture.
Edit - Just seen Anne's comment above, I regard sharpness as a somewhat over-rated virtue... I think Anne and I agree that there are other much more important ones!

first of all, congrats for the GEA!
a great shot and a great treatment.
I'm with Anne and Moira here regarding the sharpness, definitely an over estimated feature in these days pictures.
as per the crop, I think it's really important here to have both shoulders visible. Maybe, but I don't know if it's possible, I would rather add something to the top of frame. In this way the gaze would point straight to the upper right corner, making the composition more accurate, so to speak

I take Francesco's point about the shoulders.
