This is a lake a few hundred yards from my home in Hampton just outside Peterborough. I took this photo once the light had become too dim to try and photograph the barn owl that frequents the area - not that I've ever managed to get a photo worth keeping of the little blighter!

Lovely tranquil feel. Great tones too. Having the horizon central doesn't always work but IMO it does here.
