I just had to pop back again. I'm intrigued with the shapes (a lot of straightening work done maybe, but I don't care) and the marshmallow colours are beautiful. The woman's cloak blends in so well with the paler pinks. The more I look the more I like.

A beauty - love the blocks of colour and tones
Congratulations on the GEA

You are quite right Mavis to call this image beautiful, but you will know I do prefer to see the paintwork all cracked and peeling. That is why when my wife goes on a night out, I can tell her she looks beautiful so convincenly. She can spend quite a long time in front of the mirror putting her face on,but I suppose this is a trait with most women.I suppose as the years go on,one does have to spend a little bit longer to fill in the cracks that were not there only last week.Just the same as a building I suppose with more cracks appearing through old age and a bit of weathering. As a mere male I am fully aware of this problem and do try to assure my wife at every opportunity. When she asks me if I would still love her when she is old and wrinkly,I reply without hesitation.''Off course I do''.They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.I do not entirely agree with this.I prefer to simplify matters by saying ''everyone is beautiful in the dark'' So to all you girls out there,I say stop being so worried about your looks. It does not matter one jot as far as I am concerned. You know what a wild imagination I have and I can imagine you to look like any girl I wished. And I do think a bit of imagination is a better trait than a bit of vanity !!
Mick.
The colours and composition are superb Mavis, this is a fine travel photograph
