Taken whilst out with the boys yesterday. I was collecting some shells with my little man and just saw an opportunity to take a shot. I'm really pleased with the outcome. Hope you all like it.

I'm not keen on the vignetting... very heavy, produces a claustrophobic feel. I'd back it off a little, I think that would improve it a lot. The vertical thing in the middle is also a tad distracting.

I have read your comment and taken it on board. I have just gone back into the photo and lightened it and cloned out the pole in the middle. I shall upload it tomorrow. Please take a look and let me know what you think. :0)

Thanks for your mod I appreciate everybody's views and opinions. I do actually prefer mine to this one as I feel that it gives more of a moody feel which I was aiming for. Thanks again. Smile

While I see what you are trying to do, mood cannot replace good lighting and I guess from, what I see, the origional was shot in a very flat light , not ideal for moody shots. Mood is not dark it's something that makes you want to look into the details and discover a whole new image.
I am convinced that the same shot done at dawn or dusk depending on the light direction, treated in the same way would have given a more interesting and moody image.

The logo is the highlight. Enough of that one.

Well, this is down to subjective - and the subject leaves me cold. I would be happy with your vignette, but less the post, but, FOR ME, there is still nothing to interest me.
