Good Day everyone out there. I was not going to post to-day but as it is Canada Day and I had this done the other day. Well I thought you might like to see it too. It was taken along with some other photos a couple of weeks ago. My daughter has some yellow lilies in her front garden. I believe I bought them for her some years ago. After a rainfall they looked really pretty. Of course I had to play around with them didn't I. I came up with this design among other for a Canada Day card. Hope you will enjoy it because this was a lot of fun to design. Thanks for all your comments and support I really do appreciate them very much. Have a great day and weekend. I am off now till Monday. Love and best wishes to you all. (P.S.) forgot to tell you our Son is home and that makes me very happy. For those who know the story LOL.
Ann XXX Just a little addition afew hours later, so far it's been a bad day I was trying to take some moe pictures of the progress on the house this morning to post next week. The floor gave way as it is in bad shape Denis is replacing just abot everthing in that room. Down I went on mt wrist all the weight of my body went on the wrist and I have fractured it on both sides. The pain was agonizing. They put me out at the hospital with the drug that killed Michael Jackson, I never even noticed totally amazed me. The Doctor said it is a really bad fracture and I smushed the bone very badly he said. So of course I said I never do things by halves I am a perfectionist LOL Will have to be in this horrible cast for some time and be monitored by an orthopedic guy. They say it will never completely heal but will be able to manage with it. I am on strong pain killers of course and can only type with one hand now, really slowing me down. Please pass this along to everyone and explain I will not be able to do my comments for about six weeks or so. It would take me for ever at this rate LOL. Hopefully may be able to do a post that I have already created. I need you prayers for a full recovery as I would be devestated if I can't use my left hand ever again. Thanks so much everyone
XXXX Ann

You poor poor thing, your wrist sounds incredibly painful! years ago I had a broken wrist and was told it would never heal properley and that it would be crippled with arthritis by the time I was 40! Guess what...I'm 54 and that wrist is probably the only bit now showing signs of arthritis!
Take care Ann.

So sorry to hear of your misfortune Ann, hope it heals well and soon. In a few short months since you joined epz you have collected a band of followers who enjoy your work greatly. You've proved that you don't need a fancy expensive camera or a huge computer to do wonderful work.
Many thanks for your kind comments on my part of this site. I've been a photographer for 50 years so hopefully I would have learned a little about our shared hobby in that time.
Your images and blog/captions have gone down well, and if you can't upload for a bit we'll wait and be back when you return. In the meantime, rest and do the physio which will help the recovery, when the plaster comes off.
All the very best Ann,
Dougie

Ann, I'm playing catch up again - so sorry to come to this several days late only to discover that you've been in the wars Sad. Seems to have been one thing after another for you just recently - let's hope this is the last disaster and that your wrist heals well and quickly!

I love this image you've created - yes it looks like a stamp, as has been said, and you've somehow managed to make the image look as if it's created from silver foil - very effective and eye-catching. Well done!

Thanks all of you. I had to have the surgery and they put pins in to hold me together LOL. It's been a nightmare with all the pain and trips to emergency etc. Was there again last night. The pins I think are pressing on a nerve and causing excrutiating pain. Hopefully pins come out tomorrow then they might put me inb a more comfy cast, one I can shower in. This long and hot summer is great if you are not in a cast LOL. Thanks 4 all your personal messages and well wishes it is all so much appreciated very much, I am missing you all so very much.
