Emma Stothardís Exhibition of her sculptures of hares at Rievaulx Terrace - not easy to get a good shot of these willow sculptures as they are spread over quite a large area ...

Many thanks to everyone who kindly left comments and votes on my 'Stained Glass Window' and other images, all very much appreciated

Not sure Dave when the exhibition ends, just says summer through to autumn - be a shame to miss it, and Ed at one stage I was sure I was going the quick way to Rievaulx Abbey without the benefit of a parachute Wink and I rather thought I saw some of them moving, slightly ... GrinGrinGrin

A real trouper I like what you do! just because others do not or say comments!in your favour or not at all it makes no difference! you look at things in a particular way! and that is to be commended! honest to goodness photography, no embellishments, no I have such and such a lens! costing so much! so what! we are about natural photos here! and generally speaking that's what you get! technology offers alternatives yes, it's there so use it if it enhances what you saw! why not! you use a mobile phone don't you! out there! well a person should be allowed to express their visions and enhance them for the enjoyment of others. I know Carol is a dedicated person where photography is concerned! it would not do anyone harm to look at what she does in an honest way, as do many others wishing to pass on the beauty they see, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

You did well to get so many in the shot, Carol. Nice bits of shadows in there too. Mad March hares, in September! - Clever sculptures and well worth recording SmileSmile

Love the lush green setting for those brazen hares to party in Smile Thanx for sharing Smile ... and I could not agree more with your comment on my upload - would also prefer Olives and Daffodils Smile Canola drains the soil also of nutrients and they cannot sow it twice on the same soil in succession - the land needs time and TLC to recover first Smile

Cheerful hares! It is very good that they pay attention neither to foxes and wolves nor the owls, they're just having fun!Smile
